Paul has been married to Sandy since 1991 and The Lord has blessed them with four children. He has served as an an elder at Oakland Hills since 2006. In addition to serving as an elder, he also occasionally plays bass guitar in our worship services. He works as an airline pilot.
Paul was born into a nominally Roman Catholic family and came to Christ through the ministry of a Pentecostal pastor at the age of sixteen. He began attending a Missionary Alliance Church about two years later. He embraced the doctrines of grace and the reformed faith at the age of twenty five, right before he and Sandy married. After several years in the Missionary Alliance Church, Paul and his family joined an OP church plant in London, Ontario, Canada and joined Oakland Hills in 2005.
He attended Capernwray Bible School in Lancashire, England as well as Winnipeg Bible College in Otterburne, Manitoba, Canada. He also studied philosophy and apologetics at the Southern California Center for Christian Studies and has a keen interest in reformed theology with a view to ministering to God’s people.
Paul and his family have thrived under the ministry at Oakland Hills where Christ is preached and loved by His people.
His favorite verse is Romans 8:1: “There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.”
