Ken came to Oakland Hills as our 1-year intern in September 2019. He was raised a pastor’s son within independent Baptist circles and surrendered to preach as a teenager. Bible College followed high school. There, Ken discovered that God was taking him on a theological journey landing him in the reformed circles. The Kruchkow family became members of OHCC in 2013 before moving to Philadelphia to attend Westminster Theological Seminary. While at WTS, Ken became an Army National Guard Chaplain Candidate. Upon graduating with his MDiv (2019), they returned to Michigan. Ken was ordained to the gospel ministry of the OPC in the spring of 2021, and also serves as a military chaplain.
Ken married Mandy after their first year at Bible College. Together, they owned and operated a window cleaning business for ten years. They currently have five children and a dog. Ken enjoys spending time with his family, entering discipleship relationships, helping at the church, home remodeling, auto mechanic work as well as making things clean and shiny!
