On November 7, we will begin our study of the Book of Joshua.  The title derives its name from the main character and details God’s fulfilling of His patriarchal promises under the faithful and courageous leadership of Joshua.  Moses, their beloved leader, has just died.  It is a time of transition.

Through Joshua, God’s appointed successor of Moses, God brings the Israelites into the Promise Land, conquering the people of the land, and giving them rest.  Throughout the book, Joshua foreshadows Jesus.  In Joshua, we see how our Savior will be faithful to all God has for Him to do, a Deliverer of sinners, a Warrior who will conquer his enemies and a Victor who shares the inheritance with his people.

The messages from Joshua will continue through the end of March, 2022
