Our Pastor
Ralph Adam Rebandt II, Pastor of Oakland Hills Community Church, Farmington Hills, Michigan, grew up in Woodhaven, Michigan. He married his high school sweetheart, Carol, in 1976, now his wife of 33 years. They have three sons, one daughter, two daughter-in-laws, one son-in-law, and six grandchildren.
Ralph earned a Bachelor’s of Religious Education Degree (BRE) from Baptist Bible College, Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania in 1980. Upon graduation, he attended Westminster Seminary in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where he earned a Masters in Religious Education (MRE) in 1982 and a Masters of Divinity (M. Div.) in 1983. After that, he began the Doctoral program in Theology, but diverted his studies to serve a year long pastoral internship. It was at this point that Ralph was called to plant a church in Farmington Hills, Michigan. In January 1987, Ralph was officially called to plant what is now called Oakland Hills Community Church, which opened the doors of its new building in December of 2007. Pastor Rebandt, an active member in the community, serves as a chaplain for the Farmington Hills Police Department, Beverly Hills Police Department, and as the chaplain for the Southeastern Michigan Chiefs of Police.
